You've got the older-kids station at VBS, and a full rotation block to fill.
The little kids get the cute crafts.
Your group is 9 to 12, and they need something with substance, not another coloring sheet.
And it's VBS week, which means your prep time is exactly zero.
This Fruit of the Spirit escape room is a station in a folder.
Nine puzzles, one mission, and nothing to cut out at midnight!
When the Station Needs to Hold Them
The mission: something is wrong in the Garden of Virtues, and its nine special fruits are drying up.
Teams of kids solve nine puzzles, one per fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23, recording answers until they uncover the secret 4-digit code.
It runs 45 to 60 minutes, which fills a rotation block cleanly.
Puzzles can be solved in any order, so a full station stays busy, and teams racing for the code gives the whole thing energy.
Hint cards keep groups moving without you hovering.
When VBS Week Leaves No Prep Time
Print-and-play: no locks, no props, no cutting, no gluing.
Spread the puzzles on tables or hang them around the room as stations.
Answer keys are included, so any volunteer can facilitate. Run it for every rotation group all week from a single print run.
Fruit of the Spirit is a natural VBS theme, and this gives your oldest kids something worthy of them.

Print it Sunday night, run it all week.
