24 Fall Women’s Ministry Icebreaker Questions: Truth or Share

24 Fall Women’s Ministry Icebreaker Questions: Truth or Share

These fall women’s ministry icebreaker questions are a simple way to help women relax, talk, and learn more about one another.

They’re perfect for fall Bible studies, ladies’ luncheons, church fellowship events, women’s retreats and Thanksgiving gatherings.

I especially love this Truth or Share format because it offers two different ways to participate.

Truth questions give players two options to choose between, while Share prompts invite them to tell a story or describe a personal experience.

It’s more interactive than a stack of regular conversation cards, but it still feels easy and natural!

How Is Truth or Share Different?

Most conversation cards ask one open-ended question.

That works well, but some women may need extra time to think of an answer. Others may not feel ready to share something personal in a new group.

Truth or Share offers a little more flexibility.

A Truth card gives the player two options and asks her to choose one. These questions are quick, light, and easy to answer.

A Share card invites the player to tell a story, memory, or experience. These prompts can lead to longer conversations and help the group build stronger connections.

Combining both styles keeps the activity interesting without putting too much pressure on anyone.

Benefits of This Women’s Ministry Icebreaker

A good icebreaker can make it easier for new and returning members to connect.

This Truth or Share game can help women:

  • Discover interests and experiences they have in common
  • Share personal stories in a relaxed setting
  • Talk about faith without needing Bible trivia knowledge
  • Welcome new members into the group
  • Move beyond basic introductions
  • Create natural opportunities for encouragement

You can keep the activity light or allow conversations to become more meaningful as the group gets comfortable.

How to Play Truth or Share

Print and cut out the cards, then place them in a bowl or stack.

Players take turns drawing one card.

If they draw a Truth card, they choose between the two options and explain their answer.

If they draw a Share card, they respond to the prompt with a story, memory or personal experience.

Continue until everyone has answered once, or play for as many rounds as you’d like.

Now that you know how it works, here are some questions you can try!
